Looking closely at subjects in portraiture can reveal details which you would not normally notice. Hands are so expressive I can understand why so may artists have drawn, painted and photographed them.

Whenever I take photos in a public place I always feel self conscious, what surprises me every time I take photos at Flinders Street is how immune commuters are to the camera.This morning at 6am the golden light and shadows created incredible contrasts.

Watching Chef’s cook has always been mesmerizing to me. Every morning Fabrice would have his coffee in the same way – only drinking half before going cold. The spoon never leaving the cup and the croissants always on time.
